Well in the whole world I believe all people are important. Good or bad people are all imporant in the world and they all have a purpose. It is pretty obvious that your family and friends would come first before anybody else but all people care for eachother in the world and we are all equally important. Everybody in the world makes a difference by working together to save it. Like in school today all the people who read the Time Machine all agreed on the theme that H.G. Wells had "hidden" in the book. It is that we should save the Earth now so that humans can live in the future. This future is where we all want to be and we all will be important people in the future.
I already wrote my respect card to ryan parker, but I'll kind of direct it towards him, but this is mainly about my father. Anyway, my dad has taught me, that with respect and a good work-ethic you can go very far in life. Ryan Parker is my redneck best friend and he has definitely had an impact on my life-Joey Novak
My dog, actually is the most important "person" in my life. She teaches me to love others, stand strong, and always act precious(; . She is always there for me when im sick, sad, emotional, etc. and she doesn't think of me as an outsider, she thinks of me of her master. She also teaches me to not care about looks. She is 8 years old, a white german shepard mixed with some corgi and we adopted her (her name is Suzie). Once we got her she had almost like a "bunnytail" because it actually looks like the tail of a rabbit that became enlarged and placed on a dog. She also has scars on her leg and ear from herself biting and scratching herself too much, since her skin is very sensitive. I love my dog(:
My family and friends mean the world to me! Like without them it would be a really lonley world for me. But the people who have made the most impact on my life is definelty my parents! They have taught me so much, that without that knowledge I wouldn't be the person that I am today. ~ Brenna L.
The most important people in my life are my Mom, dad, brother and grandma and grandpa. Especially my Grandpa beacuse he treats me great and healways does things for me he dosent have to do. He goes out fo HIS way to do things for me and my brother. He is 74 years old and he is still active and doing well. He is very healthy. I hope he lives forever beacuse he has a big impact on my life. He always pushes me to do well in Baseball and to continue to play. He played pro baseball when he was a young. He alwasy teaches me how to throw a knucleball but I still dont know how. Hopefully on eday, I will learn. ~Mike King
There are many important people in my life, such as teachers, family, friends, and even coaches. My parents, especially my dad, push me in everything i do. There was never a basketball game when he praised me, but he always tells me what I did wrong, or what I should have done in certain situations during the game. This keeps mr thinking on ways to improve for next time. Now that I've developed this skill he drove in my head, I now apply it to everything. My dad also teaches me that you must work hard in life to succeed. Teachers are important because they spend thief time to teach us. Mr. Rizzo was a great teacher. In sixth grade I was in level 1 math and my teacher truly believed I wasn't ready to move to algebra. Thanks to my hard work in science in sixth grade I was moved into science level 1 and algebra. Mr. Rizzo helped me catch up in the beginning and eventually I was doing as well as everyone else. Sure I didn't understand everything at first (probably because I always fell asleep in class...) I studied my notes and listened to mr. Rizzo more carefully until I did understand. Coaches are very important in my life. Mr. P has been my track coach for 3 years now and this year he was my cross country coach. He too pushes not just me, but everyone to do thief best. My basketball coaches always work me harder than anything, but that taught me anythings possible and that makes me better in not just basketball, but life as well. Finally, there's friends. Friends impact you life whether you want them to or not, and in many cases they impact you more than your parents. I have many friends in many different areas. Some push me in friendly competition, and others I just talk too, but everyday I learn something new, and it's usually from them. I know without my friends I probably wouldn't be as social as I am now.
Haha, I started writing this on friday, and now it's Saturday! It took 25 minutes to type this from my iPod, and now I dare someone to write more than I have :)
Thanks to all of you for commenting right away. You really have heartfelt responses. Jimmy makes a good point about so many people who are important in our lives. Thanks Jason, Joey, Brenna and Mike for talking about your families and friends too. Mike, your grandfather seems very special. Erin, you made me think of an alternate way of approaching this assignment. Thanks. @Andrew...Okay, you win. You have the longest and most detailed post....so far. We haven't heard from Jaz yet! Ha. Thanks for commenting everyone. Check back for more classmate ideas. Mrs. Prisbell
The most important person in my life would have to be my brother. He may be annoying and very obnoxious at times, but he means well. Jeffrey is always there to make me laugh and is really sweet when he wants to be. Yesterday, I was having a fit because I couldn't find he shirt I wanted to wear, so he told me that it didn't matter what I wore it would all look pretty. All I could say was AWWWWW! His jokes are always good natured and some of the suff he does is just so funny. Everyone who meets him is sure to laugh. Jeff came to school in a king's crown because he wanted to be " King of Collins", he's definatly a card. He is by far the BEST brother ever. But another person I find important to me is J.K Rowling. Her books have brought me so much enjoyment that I can' even say. Rowling's books have sucked me into to Harry Potter universe and I can't say that I want to be kicked out of it. When I read her books I can really feel like I'm a witch and that it is socially exceptable to wear a Hogwarts robe in public ( By the way, don't wear one to Walmart, they frown upon it). Also by being a fan it has introduced me to people that I now call some of my closes friends. ( aka Jaz C:) Without the Harry Potter series I really don't think that Jaz and I would have met. Another person is David Cook. His music is extremly heart felt and it gives me inspirartion to write. He taught me that you might be the under dog and they least person to succeed, but you always can if you work hard enough. Not to meantion that he is down to earth and is kind to everyone. ~ Alanis B.
Alanis, your brother sounds like a funny guy. I can't stop laughing about the "king of Collins." you also gave Andrew some competition with your comment. Good job. Mrs Prisbell
Everyone you meet in life and cross paths with will leave an impression on you for the better or worse. I feel my family is the first and foremost and they have the most impact on me, I mean, the way they raise me now is and will forever change who I could have been or would have been. Then, my friends have a vast importance in my life since they are the influences surrounding me most often, at school, on the weekends, during sports activities, so they have much to do with the person I am and will come to be. Next, most responsible for the way I end up taking my life would be my Coaches and teachers. The definition of a coach in my eyes is someone who trains you and makes you a better person. A teacher isn't just those who are certified to become a teacher in a school, they are the ones who give you knowledge and prepare you for the real world. There is never really one special person who seems to have more of an impact on you then the other, but I guess it is just the way you perceive someone or something. We really should never take anyone for granted especially if they are trying to help you. As I have previously stated everyone and anyone has an impact on you and that will ultimately shape you as an individual and have you realize you are an importance in somebody else’s life as well.
The most important people in my life would have to be my friends because they really make life funn and making school fun is reallyhard but some how they do it! lol... Also, it a whole lot easier to talk to them then any1 else cause they dont judge you even if wat u have to say is pretty stupid lol -*Melanie*
I have many people in life that have an impact on me. I would have to agree with many that everyone has and impact on you wheather it is for the better or worse. My parents have a huge impact on me because they really have helped me with a lot of things. They have guided me through sooo many situations that I would not have been able to get through without them! Also, my sister has a big influence on me. She paves the road for me and leads by example and helps me through times that I don't know which way to turn! My friends are always making me laugh and stick with me at my side when I don't know what is going on or what is going to happen. We all get along great and are able to relate to each other. I have two dogs, Roscoe and Pebbles, and they mean the world to me. They are the two that I can sit down with and have an hour conversation with about how good or bad the day was and all they do at the end is lick my face. Both of my dogs and me have a tight bond and I couldn't get along without them. Lastly, teachers and coaches have a big impact on your life also. Coaches teach you that you can't get everything you want, such as winning a game, match, or meet, but it is still good to learn and improve upon your skills by whatching and playing the other team. Teachers teach you that things don't just show up at your front door. You have to work for something in order to succeed. If you don't understand something, they are always their to help. -Jenna W.
I think the person who has made an impact in my life is my dad. I thin he has has the hardest life in the world growing up in a 3rd world country. I'm always reminded of how lucky I am to be an American citizen with parents who love me and want whats best for me. My dad didn't have much of that growing up, and then coming to America BY HIMSELF when he was 15 took a lot of guts. I use him as an inspiration because even though he had a messed up life he graduated high school when he was 15. That doesn't happened every day. He came to America with only a few pairs of clothes and practically no money, he would walk to Montclair State University with beat up old sneakers in the snow then pump gas when he came home to his shared attic rental space, so that he could pay for his books. If that isn't courage then I don't know what is, he gives Superman a run for his money, because Superman doesn't have to provide for a family of 4 or worry about his children's education. My always has the ability to make me smile or burst into laughter any time of the day, that's where I got my amazing sense of humor (and modesty:)). When he drops me to school he always provides me with an enlightening lecture about studying hard so that I can be the best that I can possibly be. So, yeah, my dad is amazing and I love him to death, I wouldn't be anywhere without him and i think the whole world should know it. I LOVE YOU DAD!!!! :)
The most important person in my life would,be my grandma. I always think about her. She isn't alive anymore but she isn't gone. i always wear a necklace of hers and a bracelet. These things make me feel safe, relaxed, and confident. Also she had a huge elephant collection so there are a few of those in my room that also make Mr feel good. I also love looking at pictures of her and I. Her favortie color was purple as is mine, so I kinda feel like I'm representing her through everything of mine that's purple. It's weird, once u loose someone u feel like out of it, u know. I also remember things to a t that relate to her in some way or another. Js
My family members are the important people me in my life and have made a difference. They assist me each and every day in ways that I need it. I could not ask for a better family, they are wonderful! -Devony
the one person thats most special in my life is my dad. my dad is special because hes done alot for me and my brothers and sisters like took us on trips to florida which we have been 7 times and it will be out 8th time in december for christmas and to ohio and maryland, virginia, and delaware. he's bought me soo many special things like when he bought me a necklace from kindergarten which i still have. he has made a difference because he use to be in the first aid and saved many peoples lives. he was in the first aid for 10 years. my dad has also been a driving instructor he has worked at shop rite for part time and now works as an electrician. my dad is a very special person to me and means alot to me. he has done alot for me and i can never thank him for how much he has done for me. my dad in a wonderful person and i could never ask for a better father. i love him so much and that will never change! ~Courtney M.

Even though my whole family means the WORLD to me, I think the most important person in my life would be my cousin, Ashley. She clearly has a gift for words and always knows what to say. I remember I called her and asked her about something really complicated and deep, and she gave me the best advice in the world! she's definitely one of those people that make you think "wow, i hope im like her when im older." she's given me the confidence to do things I wouldve never been able to do if she hadnt been there. Above all, Ashley makes the most perfect role model ever, and I'm so proud to call her my cousin :P
